Microsoft shoots down Windows Phone 7 tablet hopes, says tablets are PCs →
Really? Somebody actually hoped for a tablet running the Windows Phone 7 OS? I don’t think so.
Also, tablets ARE mobile devices. That doesn’t mean they can’t do what a PC can do, but it does warrant some differences in the user experience with the OS. On the flip-side, you can have a desktop computer with a touch-screen, a trackpad or even a tablet as multi-touch input device and that doesn’t make it a tablet or mobile device.
